Dr. Mark A. Lupo is the founder and Medical Director of the Thyroid & Endocrine Center of Florida. Dr. Lupo is board-certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Lupo attended Duke University and earned his medical degree and internal medicine training from the University of Florida. Dr. Lupo completed Endocrinology training through a combined program at the University of California, San Diego and Scripps Clinic. Dr. Lupo is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Florida State University College of Medicine, a member of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), and the current Secretary of the Academy of Clinical Thyroidologists. Dr. Lupo lectures nationally and internationally on the topic of thyroid nodules and teaches neck ultrasound in the evaluation of nodules and cancer to other endocrinologists and surgeons. Dr. Lupo is also an active member of Mensa. |

Dr. Zsofia Geck is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology with a sub-specialty focus in thyroid and parathyroid disorders. Dr. Geck is a member of the American Thyroid Association (ATA), American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), American Clinical Thyroidologists (ACT) and the Endocrine Society. Dr. Geck received her Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University, completed her Medical Doctorate from New York Medical College and received post doctoral training in Internal Medicine and completed a Fellowship in Endocrinology at Shands Hospital, University of Florida. Dr. Geck has medical staff privileges at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. |

Dr. Katarzyna Piotrowska is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Dr. Piotrowska completed her medical school at Poznan University of Medical Sciences. She received post-doctoral training in Internal Medicine at Aurora Health Care Residency Program in Milwaukee and completed a Fellowship in Endocrinology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Piotrowska is a member of the American Thyroid Association (ATA), American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), and the Endocrine Society. Dr. Piotrowska is fluent in English and Polish. |

Lisa has over 25 years of experience in medical office management. Lisa is responsible for the daily practice operations, patient and employee satisfaction, human resources and various other office related projects. |

Wendi worked with our office for fourteen years as a Certified Medical Assistant. In 2023, Wendi proudly earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Wendi now assists with special projects and is known for her friendly, cheerful outlook. Wendi also serves as our office “MacGyver.” Wendi is originally from Michigan. |

Cori is a Medical Assistant and has worked with us since 2023. Cori assists with biopsies and is also responsible for drawing blood, chart preparations and rooming patients. Cori grew up in Sarasota and enjoys spending time at the beach, on the water, and watching her son play sports. |

Christina has worked in the medical field for over thirteen years. She joined our office in 2022 and assists with patient check in and check out, patient portal questions, and scheduling patient appointments. Christina grew up in New Jersey and loves the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. She is an avid fan of True Crime shows. |

Andi is a Certified Medical Assistant and has been with our practice since 2021. She has worked in the medical field for more than 25 years. Andi assists with insurance prior authorizations, prescription refills, and chart preparation. Andi is proud to be born and raised right here in Sarasota. When she is not working, you can find Andi camping and at music festivals. |

Anna is a Registered Medical Assistant with over thirty years of medical experience and has worked in our office since 2018. In her free time, Anna enjoys cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. |

In her free time, Brandi loves gardening, reading, knitting, crocheting, and spending time on the water. |

Crissy is our Front Office Lead Coordinator. She has worked in our office since 2011 and has been in the medical industry for twenty-five years. Crissy verifies insurance coverage and benefits, prepares charts, manages medical records requests in addition to supporting answering phones and scheduling appointments. |
