We would like to thank you for referring your thyroid patients to our practice. Our sub-specialty focus includes evaluation and management of patients with thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, hyperthyroid and parathyroid disease.
At present, our practice is not accepting requests for consultation for hypothyroid cases with the exception of hypothyroidism complicating pregnancy.
It is our goal to provide exemplary thyroid care incorporating state of the art medical knowledge and technology as well as current guidelines from the American Thyroid Association (ATA) and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). As ECNU (Endocrinology Certified Neck Ultrasound) specialists in our American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM) accredited facility we are uniquely able to provide physician performed ultrasound as an essential component of the evaluation.
The management of thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer has become increasingly dependent on expert ultrasound interpretation and pattern recognition. Many thyroid nodules do not require FNA biopsy and can simply be observed. This improves patient care, lowers costs and is consistent with national guideline recommendations. We are available for initial neck ultrasound when a thyroid nodule is discovered by palpation or as an incidental finding on other imaging. In cases requiring FNA, this is typically performed at the initial visit along with onsite cytology adequacy confirmation making the patient experience more efficient.
Meeting the needs of your patients with these thyroid and parathyroid related issues in a timely manner is our goal. We look forward to continuing and growing our relationship with your practice. We are very excited to bring this cutting-edge approach to thyroid and parathyroid care to our area.
